(More customer reviews)I love this little noise maker. And most of the people who have heard me playing with it have asked where i got it. It is a cool noisemaker and it makes me wonder what kind of noise I could make with a bigger one. Have to be careful with the spring. It can get damaged if you are not careful as i was. I let it drop accidentally and it bent the spring, but it still works, only the spring is no longer straight as it was when it arrived. Still, cool product.

(More customer reviews)bought this because it seems to have a small and soft head to be used on my hapi drum. the ones that i have now are larger and make to loud a volume giving bad reverberations. the head is small but abit too hard for my liking. the handles are long, and seems to be made of cheap plastic. it does give a lower volume compared to my bigger head mallets but because its rather hard, theres a knocking sound generated also that i dont like. then again, its cheap so i cant complain.

World Percussion SP0207TD Remo Thunder Tube Tie-Dye Review

(More customer reviews)This is basically a heavyweight cardboard tube with a long metal spring attached to the bottom. When you shake the tube, the sound is amplifies and resonates, making booming "thunder" sounds. A range of other sounds can also be created by running fingers along the spring.
It is a simple invention, but strangely addictive - people young and old like to pick it up and play with it.
It is also surprisingly durable. I've had one for over 10 years, and it is still in great shape. In that time, it has been a classroom staple, gone to adult trainings and business meetings, been featured in a couple of elementary school plays, been loaned out for a "haunted house" fundraiser, and is often played with by kids at home. I bought the thing on a whim to get kids' attention in the classroom (MUCH cooler than a bell or whistle!) but have been surprised by all of the other uses that we've found for it.
I recently purchased the tie-dye version as a unique gift for an eleven-year-old girl. It will fill a basket with a tin of "thinking putty", a set of "jelly marbles" and a few other fun science toys. I must say, it is great for the person who has everything, especially if that person likes to make noise!

(More customer reviews)When you buy these buy a bunch. My kids love to drum and drum on everything. It was killing me the things they would think to use as drumsticks and what they thought they could hit with them. These drumsticks fixed that problem well. They heads bounce nicely and we have not seen a new dent in the furniture since. Of course they work great on their drums too and no one has been seriously injured from drumming on each other yet either. Honestly the best purchase I ever made. I wish they sold them in bulk packs, lol. They are used every single day without exception and it is hard to even get the kids in the car somedays with out toting along the drum sticks too.

Zildjian SDMDC Dennis Chambers Double Stick/Mallet Pair Review

(More customer reviews)I have used these sticks for several weeks now and they work well. I'd always wondered how to get a softer foll on the cymbals. For a while I has some timpani mallets as well as my regular sticks when I played the set but it was hard to switch. Now you still have to be a little coordinated, but it is a lot easier.
They are meant for cymbals. The are too hard for timpani.
