It comes with a CD and booklet so parents that aren't musicians can help their kids do more than just shake everything. You can actually match the rhythm of the music and teach kids to play along, keeping time to the CD. I'm a big believer in introducing children to music and rhythm at a young age and this set is perfect!

(More customer reviews)I made a mistake of not reading the description properly to realize that you only get 1 bell for the price of $10.99 (and free shipping. My 6 month old daughter can easily hold the handle, and you definitely do not need to shake this bell to make it rattle - it's very sensitive. But for the price I think you can do better elsewhere.
