Zildjian's 14-inch A Custom Mastersound hi-hats feature the same crisp, rich and colorful sounds associated with the A Custom range, but with a bolder and full-bodied overall timbre. Hammered grooves in the bottom cymbal rapidly vent trapped air for a fast and clear "chick" sound.

Mastersound With its outer edge design of individual contact points on the bottom cymbal to help supply a clear and defined "chick effect" each and every time, the extra amount of "sizzle" that is given off by Mastersound hi-hats really adds a special dimension to the music you're playing. The design also adds extra high end "sparkle" to overtones when the cymbals are played partially open.
Zildjian A Customs--A Refined Classic Sound It's tough to top the unmistakable and reliable sound of A Zildjians for almost any playing situation, but the award-winning A Customs are an irresistible alternative. Developed with the assistance of drumming icon Vinnie Colaiuta, A Customs utilize radical rotary hammering techniques, thin to medium weights and a striking Brilliant finish for a crisp, sweet, sophisticated A Zildjian sound. Not too dark, not too bright--cymbals that are just right for modern music.
Alloy: Zildjian Cast Bronze: 80% Copper, 20% Tin, Traces of Silver.
Hammering: Radically modern rotary hammering for thinner weight cymbals.
Lathing: Fine pattern of narrow symmetrical grooves that create just enough stiffness.
Finish: All Brilliant Finish.
Sound: A bright, responsive, melodic and more refined take on traditional A Zildjian sounds.

Zildjian Cast Bronze Cymbals Cast Bronze cymbals are individually poured and cast from raw molten metal. Each casting is cooled and sorted by weight for each cymbal model, then the castings are put through a complex sequence of heating, rolling, shaping, hammering, and lathing techniques unique to each cymbal range.
Cast Bronze cymbals have a rich, full-bodied sound that improves with age, and have greater projection, clarity and durability than any other cymbals. Zildjian cast cymbals are made from the Zildjian secret alloy, which is comprised of 80% copper, 20% tin, and traces of silver.

Paiste PST 3 Cymbal Crash 14-inch

very good product, besides the old package protected by a sturdy box and is lined to prevent moisture.
the product would recommend to add a link containing the sound of the dish when it is beaten with a stick to give an idea of the sound emitted
but perfect as you imagine

This is a very practical choice for crash or special effect triggering. It's kind of light weight so it doesn't absorb hitting like the Roland product. I am pleased with it as a crash cymbal trigger.

Meinl HCS 8 Inch Splash Review

Meinl HCS 8 Inch Splash
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
This splash is a great little cymbal. I recieved it today in the mail, its a lot smaller then i thought it would be. it says on it that its made in germany but it sounds almost a little bit chinese. the sound is pretty good. fast accent, no ring to it, which is good for a splash. and the price is unbeatle. where else can you get a new splash for 20 bucks? Yes yes yes, zildjian and sabian and paiste's are better but at 140 bucks id rather have 7 of these things. go ahead and buy it its nice.

Since im a beginner, i liked these alot. They sure can take a beating too. I've had them for 5 months and i bought them used and they are still in alright condition. Im getting z custom dyno beat hihats to replace them but i like them still i am still going to use them.
Also, compared to Sabian b8 14 hats, i liked the ZBTs better. So if your a beginner on a budget, these are the hi-hats for you. You wont be disappointed.

Pearl PCB4 Primero 4" Cowbell Review

Pearl PCB4 Primero 4 Cowbell
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
This cowbell is not too great.
The sound is far too high-pitched and rings out way longer than a cowbell should.
It doesn't even sound like a cowbell unless I put a sock in it.
I am a bit disappointed in my purchase, but I guess it could be worse.

Zildjian 14-Inch New Beat Hi-Hat Cymbals Pair Review

Zildjian 14-Inch New Beat Hi-Hat Cymbals Pair
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I've played on 4 or 5 different sets of New Beats on 13" and 14" sizes over the past 20 or so years. They are the most common kind of professional-level hats you'll find out there. I've used them for rock, jass and concert/orchestral gigs and they never disappoint. If you're looking for the only set of hi-hats you'll ever own, these would be them.

Zildjian ZBT 4 Rock Promo Cymbal Box Set with Bonus 18" Crash Review

Zildjian ZBT 4 Rock Promo Cymbal Box Set with Bonus 18 Crash
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I'm a beginner and I thought a company like Zildjian would make a quality low-end cymbal. They look nice but the zbt high hats do not have a nice hissy 'shick' sound. Its more like a "Clang" sound, the crashes sound like splashes and the ride is even worse. I was completely disappointed and also very upset that Zildjian would even consider making and selling these. Make no mistake, they sound horrible. These cymbals will not help you sound good if your first starting out. I bought an old Pearl set that came with older Paiste 502 cymbals and I really thought buying a major American brand would help my sound. But, No, I will stick with my Paiste's. I sent them back for a refund. The zbt's also came with major scratches on them and a pre-opened box. Obviously, I got used cymbals that someone also bought, hated and sent back. Take my advise...Dont embarrass yourself like me and fall for thier pitch, free stuff and the eye candy of bright, new Zildjians...your sound is more important. buy used quality cymbals or another brand. these zbt's will not help you sound like a serious beginning drummer. I hope that helps you. -Kevin

Zildjian Black Classic T-Shirt Xl

If you're a drummer, this is a great conversation starter ("What's a Zildjian?). Not in a talkative mood? You can always just turn-around and show them the answer on the back of the shirt. I was really impressed with the quality and packaging of this product. Reasonably priced, it's refreshing to find a company that doesn't overcharge for promoting their brand.

Sabian Ride Cymbal Mute Review

Sabian Ride Cymbal Mute
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
It does exactly what it says it will: it mutes the cymbal, and it mutes it completely. Apply it to the bottom of the cymbal so the playing surface isn't affected. This is what you want if you're looking to practice by yourself in an apartment or any other place where noise is an issue. If you're looking to reduce the noise level but keep the sound then go for the Sabian Sound Shapers.

Sabian 16 Inch B8 Thin Crash Review

Sabian 16 Inch B8 Thin Crash
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I have two and love them! I play all kinds of music and they sound awesome at any price but the fact that they are so cheap is incredible! I play in a Neil Diamond tribute band and they are extra sensitive for that but I also play mostly metal and they are ALWAYS loud enough. They have such a beautiful tone that dosent get tinny with age like the Zildjian's and Paiste's do and are less expensive to boot, plus are way more durable. Ive alway maintained that I can break a Zildjian at will. They use what seems to be a softer more inferior grade alloy. Some of them sound realy nice but it's realy only a matter of time till they break and your heart right with it. Some Paiste's sound realy great too but its also just a matter of time with those too, also they get realy trashy with age. I recently played a gig where another drummer was gonna let me use his old 2002 ride. I was thinking well it probably sounds better than my b8 ride god knows 2002's cost like 4 or more times what a Sabian b8 costs. So I set it up. I sounded like HELL! I threw my b8 back up so fast! the b8's are louder and are more sensitive at lower volumes than any Paiste and age way better.
I have I think broken a couple Sabians over the years ( I've played them since they came out!)but I don't "know" I'm going to break them and when I did it was more like a fluke. The ones I broke were a long time ago and cymbal technology has gotten so much better I feel it would be another fluke if I broke one again. But bottom line the sound awesome plus they're cheap. If anyone tells you different don't listen, find out for yourself because I LOVE them. ther is a store near me that has a stack of 16" thin crashes (my favorite. don't like the heavier b8's so much) and if I had the money I'd buy the whole stack and not regret it! LOL

Zildjian ZBT 4 Cymbal Set Up Pack Review

Zildjian ZBT 4 Cymbal Set Up Pack
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
This cymbal set is based on Zildjian's Bronze Technology (ZBT) process. The hi-hat cymbals are superb and worth the price of the entire package. The ride cymbal has a clear "ping" and fast decay, which makes it ideal for jazz and rock. The 14" crash cymbal explodes and has a reasonable sustain, and the bonus 16" crash allows you to accent with a louder, longer sustaining crash. It also has an interesting effect when used as a ride (especially when playing around the bell area).
Overall this is an excellent beginner-to-intermediate set that will make even a cheap drum kit sound great. The included cymbal bag and the 16" crash add value to an already great deal. If you are comparing this to the lower-end Zildjian Planet Z series, get this one. The cost difference is minimal, but the performance difference between the Planet Z cymbals and this ZBT set is significant.

Zildjian 16-Inch ZHT Medium Thin Crash Cymbal Review

Zildjian 16-Inch ZHT Medium Thin Crash Cymbal
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
This cymbal (for $99) is an extremely great cymbal. I've been playing for a little less than six months (as of today, which is december 18th, '07) i actually bought this at a drum store for 90, but still, this cymbal is extremely good. It has a moderate decay and actually sounds pretty good as a ride (but i dont use it as one) if you've been playing for less than maybe 2 or 3 years, this is ThE cymbal for you, perfect for beginners to intermediates than have an alright budget.

Zildjian ZBT Ride Cymbal - 20 Inch Review

Zildjian ZBT Ride Cymbal - 20 Inch
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I began playing clubs when I was 12. Had to sign a waiver to legally play. Throughout my life, I have played in so many bands at so many places and have gone through so many drums and Zildjian cymbals. I just got my 20" ride today. This is, by far, the best cymbal quality I've ever experienced. I also own an Avedis Zildjian from the late 60's (made in Turkey). This USA Zildjian outranks that cymbal and any other cymbal I've ever heard or played...no contest. Sweet. Perfect. I payed $125 in the 60's for the other.....and $79 something for this one. This is a must buy for any drummer.
