Ahead Grip Tape Review

Ahead Grip Tape
Average Reviews:

just recieved this product and let me tell you, have fun putting it on. i have no idea how to do it and the instructions are useless. they dont tell you which end to start with or how to secure it when youre done. the wide end that it looks like you SHOULD start with has no way to secure it when you start to wrap it. the kit comes with two skinny stickers that say ahead so i used them to "tape" the end to the stick and there is an adhesive spot on the other end which holds it when done. maybe ahead should produse "grippy" handled sticks. i bought the metallica aluminum sticks which are awesome but i kept throwing them. very slippery. ahead should make sticks like that with tape type surface as part of the stick. otherwise the only time i ever drop one now is when my hands get too tired. then its time to take a break. definately recommend

Ahead Drumsticks 5B Review

Ahead Drumsticks 5B
Average Reviews:

I bought a pair of these (5B) over 5 years ago. As a metal drummer I hit hard and heavy. I have from 16 inch to 20 inch crash cymbals and never had a problem with these sticks. I have yet to replace the original sleeves. Yes, there are dings, nicks and scratches on them, and have no worries. I will be getting another pair just to have on hand.

If you play drums, sticks get very expensive. These covers last a long time and the sticks last. Try Ahead if you haven't yet.

Ahead Model 5A Advanced Alloy Core Drum Sticks Review

Ahead Model 5A Advanced Alloy Core Drum Sticks
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
These sticks were designed for heavy metal players who hit really hard, and use alot of power. If you're not the heavy hitting drummer, and you play not so hard e.g jazz, pop, funk...these are NOT for you! They are as heavy as oak 5b sticks, approximately. By the ways I recommend buying the Ahead drummers gloves, and grip tape. With the combination of both you can't go wrong, trust me. Try it out yourself. I use 'em and I have no problem what so ever. I hope you find this helpfull and have fun with your new Ahead sticks. Peace out.

Ahead 5B ROCK Aluminum Drum Sticks Review

Ahead 5B ROCK Aluminum Drum Sticks
Average Reviews:

These are probably the best sticks I have ever used. I was turned on to Ahead sticks after seeing Peter Criss and Matt Sorum using them. I did some research on these sticks and found out they were made by Easton, the same company that makes hunting bows and baseball bats. I tried a pair of the 5B Ahead sticks, and I thought they were good. A little heavy, but good. I decided I liked them, and bought these kind. When I got them, I instantly fell in love with them. These kind feel as light as wood sticks to me, and they perform very nicely. The only difference that I have noticed with these sticks are that they seem to make my drums a little louder, but maybe that's just me. In short, these sticks are great sticks, they will last for a long, long time, and is deffinatly worth the price you pay.

Great sticks. I like that the tips are round. Most are egg shaped. These are good solid sticks. Better than any wood garbage ANY DAY. My last pair (different model)lasted around 4 years so I highly recommend ahead sticks.

Ahead Lars Ulrich LT Aluminum Drum Sticks (Pair) Review

I got these sticks for my birthday...I've never had to use another pair since(been about 7 months now) Its a shame too, I kind of like breaking wooden sticks every month on a cymbal! The bounce is incredible, i can play alot longer and faster. Only complaint and its a small one: Just like everything Metallica, its overpriced. Oh well. I won't pay $90 for shows anymore either.

Ahead JJ1 SPEED METAL Aluminum Sticks Review

These are by far the finest drum sticks I've ever held or seen. The tips have "trails" when you play in the dim light, as if they glow. Perfect weight balance, extremely durable and strong, cymbals sound better than I've ever heard them, and they are built with an aluminum core. These are absolutely perfect for my electronic drums, and I am certain that they will last forever, even if I use them on my acoustic set. SICK!!!!!!!!

Ahead Switch Stix 5A Drum Sticks with Mallet End Review

Ahead Switch Stix 5A Drum Sticks with Mallet End
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
hello,i have many pairs of ahead drumsticks. These i have to say are my best and nicest pair. I say this, because i am in a marching band at school, and these sticks are PERFECT. Never once have i had a problem with these whatsoever. They are great for marching snare/quads.And the mallet of course is GREAT for the cymbols, and bells(marimba). Also on the side of band, i am an expert and play blast beats on a drumkit. I consider myself this good because i am sponsored by a drumstick company, and these sticks are what i use almost every time i break down on my kit. So instead of buying some wooden sticks that will bust within a few weaks, buy these sticks.Their aluminum,so dont worry about breaking them, plus it has plastic sleeves to protect indentation of the stick itself while playing. I also play EXTREMELY aggressive, and have had 0 problems whatsoever.
