Gator GP-STANDARD-100 Drum Set Bags Review

Gator GP-STANDARD-100 Drum Set Bags
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I bought this for bringing my 5 piece kit to local gigs and they work for that. The padding is nice and the drums fit snugly. It takes a little doing to fit the kick and floor tom but it's understandable. Two things prevent me from giving it 5 stars. Although the bag straps are good for using them over you shoulder, it's not the easiest to use when you just want to carry them by hand. Being on the short side (5' 5"), using the long straps by hand results in the drums dragging on the floor. A short handle on the side would've been convenient. The other thing I wished they had are side pockets to store some of the hardware.
I bought these instead hard cases because I didn't think I needed the extra protection. This still holds true. But a big advantage of the hard shell cases is the ease of putting the drums in and out of them - a friend has them and it's a cinch. But as my title said, for the money, it protects my drums during local travel.

Profile Bag for Djembe Drum - 11 to 12 Inches Review

Profile Bag for Djembe Drum - 11 to 12 Inches
Average Reviews:

I have not yet bought this bag, but I am saving up to do so. I am tired of my old low-resolution djembe bag. My strap and carry handle are sort of grainy - I know there's better technology out there. Also, I particularly like the 12VDC feature, so I can use a transformer and wall plug with it, instead of lugging around those thirty AAA batteries my old bag used. A better gig bag all around, I think, and look at that viewing angle! Upside down - who knew? This will definitely move my playing up a notch!

Hand Sewn Djembe Drum Bag Review

Hand Sewn Djembe Drum Bag
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I took a chance on this product because I liked the idea of having a handmade bag for my djembe drum rather than some boring, cloned factory thing. When I visited this page, there were some interesting images and brief descriptions, but no reviews. Also, there was no "choice" or selection button to choose a particular bag, which meant that the seller would send me the product, but the sender would choose the color / design for me. I wouldn't know what the product look like until I received it--a total surprise. Nevertheless, I went ahead with the purchase because I wanted a bag; the given samples seemed to be interesting and tasteful. Well, I received my bag today, and I am very impressed with the product (see the customer images section for a view) and the seller's quick service. I actually liked the pattern / style that was chosen for me, sort of a black and clay color, with African motif; I liked it even better than the sample ones pictured! :) The bag feels sturdy, well-made, and it seems to be the perfect travel for my instrument. It's a pleasure to show! An unusual instrument deserves an unusual bag.
NOTE: Remember, this is a handmade product, so If you order, please expect unique colors / styles, stitching, and other human elements. In my opinion, the handmade nature adds to the beauty and uniqueness of the bag.

Zildjian Padded Cymbal Bag (22 Inch) Review

Zildjian Padded Cymbal Bag (22 Inch)
Average Reviews:

this bag is great. it was exactly what i was looking for. being able to easily fit a 22' cymbal is nice. the back straps are awesome and make it very easy to transport your cymbals - much more comfortable than a shoulder strap. the cymbal dividers are pretty good too - sure, you could go with a protection racquet's bag with the fleece, but that is much more expensive. i'd say that this bag is the best i have seen for the cost.

I got this as a bag to hold all my sticks and brushes for drumline. I am really impressed for the price you pay. I even got it a day earlier than expected. The zipper looks pretty durable and the material its made of isn't all floppy like some other cheap bags. Overall im really impressed!

Zildjian Deluxe Cymbal Bag 22 Inch Review

Zildjian Deluxe Cymbal Bag 22 Inch
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
This is a great bag for anyone who has 22" cymbals, but is constrained by budget. It's basically a slightly larger version of the 20" bag Zildjian offers (see ASIN B0002D0HNK), and shares the same strengths and weaknesses with the smaller bag.
Strengths: well constructed, sufficiently so to support the heavy weight of a bag full of cymbals, and comes with a detachable strap and built-in carrying handles.
Weaknesses: no dividers, so you will need to use cloth or plastic covers for each of your cymbals to protect them. Second, there is only a single compartment, which means that your smaller splash and your hi-hat cymbals are going to get mixed in with larger ride and crash cymbals.
Even if you are on a budget, I recommend that you consider the Zildjian Gadd Session Cymbal Bag (ASIN B0002D0FXM), which has none of the weaknesses cited above, and is not significantly higher in cost.

Paco Deluxe Drum Stick Bag Review

Paco Deluxe Drum Stick Bag
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
The bag is definitely a good buy, if you don't plan on carrying more than 4 pairs of sticks in it. I think I was able to fit 7 pair, but its a tight squeeze, but I also have my in-ear headphones and a drum key in the Clear pocket, and also I have a 10' quarter inch to 1/8" cable stowed in one of the packets also.
Aside from the space, the bag itself seems very durable. It has an elastic strap with hooks that allows you to hook it to your floor tom, or wherever you prefer. The zipper is kinda tricky when unzipped all the way, its kinda hard to get it zipped back up, but I may just be zipper challenge. All in all its a great product.

Djembe Bag XXL - Adjustable Backpack Straps - Extra Padding and 2 Zippers - Blue Review

Djembe Bag XXL - Adjustable Backpack Straps - Extra Padding and 2 Zippers - Blue

Compared to most of the bags available, this is a great bag.My drum is 23" tall / 14" wide and this bag fit like a glove!
I had about 2" of head room at the top Which I filled with a piece of foam. The padding around the entire drum is awesome. It more than holds up to a few "drops" or slips down a hill. The back pack straps a comfortable as well;real nice if you have to
take longer hikes to the drum circle.Considering that most plain, average looking bags cost the same,if not more, the design and color are great bonus.I highly recommend(drummer of 20 years).

Bought this for my grandson. The djembe fit perfectly and he loved the professional look of it. Very sturdy bag with a couple of pockets on the outside for small stuff. I would measure your djembe before buying as they have a couple of sizes. The vendor was good to work with and delivered quickly.

Bought this for my daughter for her band class where she plays percussion instruments. She was able to carry drumsticks and some of the other mallets in it just fine. Was nice quality....then our cat peed on it, so I am deciding if I want another one. I wouldn't hesitate to get this one again though.

Zildjian Session Cymbal Bag Review

Zildjian Session Cymbal Bag
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
Although I received a great cymbal bag as a bonus when I purchased a set of Zildjian ZBT cymbals (ASIN B0002ZO3L0), that bag would not hold my treasured Avedis Zildjian 22" ride. This bag, however, will hold cymbals up to 22", and has some features such as dividers and a separate hi-hat compartment to ensure that each cymbal is well protected.
It can hold a lot of cymbals too. Using my Tama Stagestar kit as an example, when I take that kit with me I have a pair of 13" hi-hats, 22" and 19" rides, a 20" sizzle, an 18" crash/ride, 16" and 14" crashes, and 10" and 8" splashes. That's a lot of cymbals and they all fit into this bag. More importantly, the combined weight of my cymbals is heavy and the bag does not strain or tear.
If you are using cymbals no larger than 20", are carrying six to eight cymbals, and are not constantly transporting them, you may find that the basic Zildjian case (ASIN B0002D0HNK) to be more than adequate.
An interesting side note is the fact that I got this case because I needed to protect my 22" ride, while the case is designed per Steve Gadd's specifications. Gadd - arguably one of the greatest living drummers - rarely uses cymbals over 18" (typically Zildjian K Constantinople series). I know of only one configuration where he was observed to use a 19" K series.
Regardless of trivia about the bag's namesake, this is a sturdy bag that is attractive and was designed to not only transport a large set of cymbals, but to also protect them.

NEW Deluxe PADDED DJEMBE drum Gig BAG - BLACK perc gear Review

NEW Deluxe PADDED DJEMBE drum Gig BAG - BLACK perc gear

Good overall bag for the money. I have had it for about 9 months. The strap is not very comfortable with the weight of a Wooden Djembe if you are walking a good distance or carrying it on your bag to class on a Lambretta. Also on one side the seam has come undone a bit so I have to sew it up soon.
