HQ 6in Reversable Practice Pad Review

(More customer reviews)This is the perfect practice pad. It has two sides: the silenced, very bouncy one; and the harder, louder, more realistic-feeling one (in terms of snare). The 6 inch is also extremely portable. I highly suggest getting this one instead of the 12 inch one because the 12 inch one is humongous and unbelievably heavy. This also has no rim, which I like. Most of the people I talk to also agree that this is a great pad, so I know I'm not the only one who loves it!!

(More customer reviews)This is a nice practice pad for good old rudiments and has a good material. It has a great bounce effect. This can really help you if you are starting drummer as if you are a professional drummer. But it has some flaws. To start this product is not the one from the picture. in the picture we see a 35cm or 40cm practice pad. the one i got is 15cm. so yes is a lot more smaller. And that can bring you some problems. Also is all the material. where it says "vic firth" that is on black plastic. And this pad we see in the picture that i have had the chance to play features a double side that you can play in and the one is sold does not have that. The material that you can play in is kind of loose, so maybe you would have to reinforce it. So in the end Is good, you can practice a lot of different techniques and it will improve your drum speed and skills so is kind of what you asked.

(More customer reviews)These are HARD sometimes warped, no bounce, loud hard plastic. Save your cash up and get regular triggered rubber cymbals. you'll be much happier. Go in your kitchen grab a full size plastic dish and hit it, that is about as loud as they are. Not cool. The hi-hats will bend ad pop and are really bad. Not recommended at all.

(More customer reviews)Bought an Akai MDP26 first and promptly returned it for the padKONTROL. I prefer the feel of the Korg over the Akai, and the LED's in the pads are super responsive (no latency compared to the Kontrol 49). The X/Y pad is a joy to play flams and rolls with - highly recommended!!! Fair warning, as of Reason 5 the Remote file does not have feedback so the LEDS's do not "play back" on the pads when you play your sequences back. Perhaps in an update by Propellerhead but this isn't Korg's fault.

Remo Practice Pad Stand Review

(More customer reviews)We purchased this item assuming it came with both a practice pad and the stand. The Amazon listing shows a practice pad in the product photo and lists the item as "Remo Stand, Practice Pad, Tall" That pretty much tells me its a stand AND a pad. Not so. We are disappointed with the listing on Amazon. But the stand is nice, sturdy and what we wanted in a drum pad stand.
We will now order the Pad as an addition to the stand. This will cost more than another listing we saw on another site that sold both together. So we are spending more than we would have needed to.
Future buyers be warned.

Gibraltar SC-LPP Leg Practice Pad With Strap Review

(More customer reviews)First off, the real pad looks nothing like the picture Amazon has posted above. It is a solidly built black plastic frame (nice and light) with a traditional grey rubber top. It is much more professional looking.
This is a great practice pad. The strap is highly adjustable and fits snugly onto your leg. I can't tell you how nice this setup is for traveling or being on the road. The size and weight are perfect. I haven't had it for long, but it seems pretty strong.
The feel is the real plus here. The rubber top is thinner than most practice pads, and with the plastic frame underneath, it feels more like a real drum head than standalone pads. Very responsive.
Highly recommended.

The Rudi-Pad ? - Drum Practice Pad & Rudiments in One Review

(More customer reviews)This product is miss represented in the picture. The actual product is about 8 or 10 in across and is VERY cheaply made. I would be afraid to take a drum stick to in, even once. It does have all of the rudiments but the print is so small it is difficult to read from a normal drumming prosition. I might pay $5 for this if I found it at a discount store, and didn't have to pay shipping!!! I got it for my son and the only reason I don't return it is because it isn't even worth the effort. I suppose that he can hang it on his wall.
