(More customer reviews)First off, the real pad looks nothing like the picture Amazon has posted above. It is a solidly built black plastic frame (nice and light) with a traditional grey rubber top. It is much more professional looking.
This is a great practice pad. The strap is highly adjustable and fits snugly onto your leg. I can't tell you how nice this setup is for traveling or being on the road. The size and weight are perfect. I haven't had it for long, but it seems pretty strong.
The feel is the real plus here. The rubber top is thinner than most practice pads, and with the plastic frame underneath, it feels more like a real drum head than standalone pads. Very responsive.
Highly recommended.
