(More customer reviews)Sure, this pedal looks nice and is very inexpensive. But remember what all drummers say when you buy kick pedals: YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR.
When I got the pedal, it was in parts and very loose, so this was definitely not "new."
The very same day I started drumming with this bass pedal, the left slave pedal kept falling down. So when I tightened it even harder, it just stripped completely and is now rendered useless.
Its customization sucks. In order to adjust the angle of elevation, you must use brutal force to turn the pedal.
Also, there's NO velcro or carpet screws. You'll have to have super thick carpet in order to keep these from moving around.
Do NOT purchase this pedal. Go for a more expensive route like Iron Cobras or Pulse Pro.

Axis Longboards A Single Drum Pedal Review

(More customer reviews)I have spent quite a few years playing drums in many different situations and have owned or used a significant number different brands of pedal. Chain Drive, Belt Drive, Double-Chain, they all have slightly different feel but ultimately are very similar. The Axis pedals are different. They move very smoothly and lack the "wiggle" and "clatter" found in most other types of pedal. The fulcrum will never stretch or distort, so the first time you put a foot to it will feel exactly the same as the last.
The aircraft grade aluminum makes for a very solid feel and a piece of equipment that readily stands up to the abuse of regular gigging. The action is precise, and rebound is consistent and reliable.
Bottom Line: If you want a high-quality pedal that will last the rest of your life, get an Axis.

(More customer reviews)Great value for the money! I am new to double bass drumming and this seems like a quality product. Double springs on the main pedal and a single spring on the slave. Nice beaters with full adjustment of the spread and height against the small Yamaha electronic kick pad. Works well!! I just wish it came with instructions, but then again, it doesn't take a rocket scientist to assemble it...wait a sec...I am a rocket scientist!

(More customer reviews)Such a great pedal I'm surprised it hasn't had more reviews, its got a great feel and such dynamic control that you can do as much with it as you can with your sticks.
All the normal bass drum techniques work on it brilliantly, I personally use the swivel technique.
And the speed you can get out of it is great.
The build quality seems sturdy enough, I've been playing it for around three weeks now, and I love it. no faults as of yet and I play a lot.
The only thing I have changed is the beater, swapping the 'pancake' for my felt, but that's all preference.
Great piece of hardware.
