I had been so used to using no name brand sticks, and once I picked up a pair of these, I could feel the difference immediately. You pick them up, and before even playing with them, you can tell how much precision goes into these sticks. Not only is the weight of each stick completely equal, the stick itself is so perfectly balanced that it makes playing so much more fun and enjoyable. (More customer reviews)Bought these as a replacement for the balsa wood rock band 2 drums. These are more substantial - these sticks don't feel like they'll snap in half. Also these sticks are smoother than the Rock Band 2 drum sticks but not slippery. Recommended.
