Latin Percussion LP234A Afuche/Cabasa Standard Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)I think this is the best cabasa available. Having looked at several brands, LP's quality is the best. The wood is cut and finished just so, the chain is exactly the right tension, and the metal surface has just the right texture. The result is a responsive tool that will last and gives a good sound reliably. I like the standard size the best for balance and both weight and sound.
If you've looked at some of the plastic versions on the market, stay away! They just don't have the right sound. That's not an aversion to plastic generally, either, as I have a plastic guiro that I like a lot.
Very pleasant and playable.

Latin Percussion LPM1400 Udu Drum Museum Series Ltd Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)I happen to order a Meinl ID8-RB IBO drum the same time i ordered this drum and they both arrived on the same day within an hour of each other the Meinl arrived first, so i unpacked it and played it for about an hour and it had alot of various tones between the ceramic, and the fiberglass bottom, as well as a very deep base sound, but it was a huge drum and very awkward and uncomfortable to play on my lap.
Then the LPM 1400 museum series arrived an hour later, now keep in mind the LP is a mere $50.00 to the Meinl's $120.00 and yet the LP was packaged much better and also included a booklet telling you about the drum and showing the other models available, not to mention a very cool tightly wrapped round tweed rope stand and this drum was incredibly comfortable in my lap and had very bright and deep bass sounds, and i must admit so much more smooth playing than the Meinl.
It's just a great drum and has immediately become my favorite out of the 3 i have, the other 2 being the Meinl Liquid IBO drum $160.00 and of course the ID8-RB Ceramic/Fiberglass bottom newer addition, LP really makes a quality product and it will probably get the most play out of the 3 because of it's great sound and comfort and ease of playing....buy this drum.

LP Udu Drum Mbwata Natural Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)I really like this udu because of all of the tone possibilities between the two chambers. The upper chamber has a very articulate high pitch when struck with the fingers and a dry bass tone. The lower chamber's bass tone is similar to what one can get with more traditional LP udus---very wet and low. Both chambers have putty-plugged holes so that they can be mic'ed. Many thanks to LP for another awesome product!

Pearl PCB4 Primero 4" Cowbell Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)This cowbell is not too great.
The sound is far too high-pitched and rings out way longer than a cowbell should.
It doesn't even sound like a cowbell unless I put a sock in it.
I am a bit disappointed in my purchase, but I guess it could be worse.

Pearl PTM10GH Ultra Grip Tambourine, Steel Jingles Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)This is a wonderful product. Great look, clear cutting sound from the jingles, and the mount is very handy and cool. Also, the rubber around the top helps prevent the audible stick attack, so all you can hear are the wonderful jingle tones.

Latin Percussion LPM200-AW Santana Mini Tunable Bongo Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)These are so small, they are almost like miniature models of real bongos. Actually, I thought there was a mistake when I opened the box, like I had received a set of bongos for Smurfs or something! The picture here on the website is pretty much the actual size.

Rhythm Band Bongos Single Medium 6"H X 5-1/2" Dia. Review

(More customer reviews)The photo is not correct for this item. It is not a double, attached set of bongo drums, but rather a single drum with a strap.

Latin Percussion Mini Tunable Bongo Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)I purchased this set of bongos as a birthday present for my 7 year-old son. They came out of the box pretty much ready to play, just a few turns of the tuning wrench had them good to go. I was pretty impressed by the sturdy construction and the real skin heads.
My son has been happily beating on this set for a couple of weeks now, and he seems to really be enjoying them. The skins have broken in now with the frequent playing, and that has softened the tone a little. This set really packs a good sound into a small package. Highly recommended if you want a good set of starter bongos for yourself or your kids. Would also make a good travel set or something to keep in your office for those days when you just want to bang your own drum.

NEW BONGO DRUM / Aux Percussion STAND - Double Braced Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)The price was good, so I wasn't expecting anything fancy. When it arrived and i put it together, I was very impressed. The quality is outstanding and I could believe how nice this stand was. I want to a few music stores and the cheapest I could find was $70 dollars more or less. This stand is about $40 including shipping and handling and I think its better than what I could find. I very happy!

GP Percussion B2 Pro-Series Tunable Bongos 6 & 7 Inch (Clear Finish, Hickory) Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)We got these for my dad as a birthday gift. I was skeptical about them being up to his standards as he's a trained percussionist from his youth and although he has since gone into a more professional career as an adult he still knows whats-what when it comes to anything drums.
And.... he LOVED them. He was surprised that Amazon carried such a professional brand. He said they were better than the set he already had.
What do you get the guy who has everything? Something he already has and loves, of course!! So he has now started a small collection of bongos and likes to have jam sessions with family and friends whenever possible... and having more than one set now makes this possible.
I may have to buy myself a set so I can practice for our future jam sessions! :)

Latin Percussion CP Wood Bongos Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)Very good price. I bought these and they work great. WARNING: Don't expect a really nice bag. The bag that comes with it is a straw, drawstring bag. It was great for what I needed it for, but as I said, don't expect too much.
It comes with a tuning wrench that is, in my opinion, necessary for making these things work! I believe that the heads are cowhide. They are definitely not plastic like rock drumsets. All in all, a pretty good deal for $50!

LP Set of 4 Rubber Conga Feet Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)a simple design for the seated player, allows your congas stability, so that you can beat your own drum without the worry of it slipping from between your legs, due to the super-smooth, glossy finishes on most modern conga drums...I have 3 congas and they ALL stand on their own FEET!!
