Latin Percussion LPM200-AW Santana Mini Tunable Bongo Review

These are so small, they are almost like miniature models of real bongos. Actually, I thought there was a mistake when I opened the box, like I had received a set of bongos for Smurfs or something! The picture here on the website is pretty much the actual size.

LP M201 Matador Bongos, Dark Brown Finish Review

I gig with them and mine are 16 years old. If you are some what serious about your sound, you may want to contact JCR Percussion, Bronx,NY and order a set of "pre-mounted" mule skin heads for Matador bongo as I did. However, even with the stock heads, these are a great instrument. As far as the shells and hardware goes...they are near bullet proof, if cared for and used properly. Sure, there are other brands out there to choose from, but for the cash these are great for the multi-percussionist. But if you are true bongocero, you are most likely not reading this review.
