(More customer reviews)Twelve pairs of this Nova drumsticks lasted to me the same of one pair of regular Vic Firth 5AN. They broke easily in ways you could never imagine like in 10 seconds of playing a simple rock groove they cracked cleanly about 1 inch from the tip with no reason. I think there is no quality control at all for these things (because definitly they aren't drumsticks). Believe me, never buy Nova sticks (unless you want them to set a fire). I am a guy who read profoundly every opinion people leave in the products I'm interested to in amazon and is really useful for my pre-buying selection process. When I bought this 12-pack there was no customer reviews so I decided to take my risks and buy, it appears to be such a bargain but it was not. I will try to take some pics of the sawdust this sticks turn to to provide you with a forceful reason to not buy them.

(More customer reviews)i've been playing since 1965. tried every stick under the sun. regal tip sticks are the only ones that have held up under the daily punishment of rock n roll. i'm a big guy & i play hard all the time. The style of music demands it. These sticks rise to the moment without fail. I've never had one break on during a performance. I can't say that about other brands i've used. I won't mention any brand names. If your out kickin but use regals because they kick but.

(More customer reviews)To start... I'm a punk rock drummer that uses a lot of jazz influencing to change it up some. I hit heavy, but also have to finess it sometimes. Over all, going through a standard practice of giving only 80%, I would break at least one stick every time. They're extremely light weight which is nice, however the paint will bleed onto your heads and cymbals, especially if you play with white coated heads. For a beginner these may be good sticks to start with. For any one playing heavy music, prepare to fly through these sticks pretty fast.

(More customer reviews)Thought this was a good deal...and this is a good price....but these sticks are too flimsy and light....not a very good feel :( feels kinda like those really light cheesy sticks they give you with the "Rock Band" video game drumset. Spend a little more and get some better sticks.
