It is beautifully crafted, it is light and fits in the hand, it has deep resonance sounds just like a gourd, yet it cant break. Jim is an amazing Sherkere player and his love for this instrument is apparent in the way it plays and feels. If you get it, it is worth getting his DVD on how to play. You will have a blast and discover this wonderful and fun musical instrument. Thanks Jim not sure how you created the prefect Shekere but you did!
