Gibraltar 9608 Professional Round Throne Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)Needed a new throne and I saw this one here on Amazon, I thought why not. I was about to spend ~$160 on a high end one (pork pie, dw, etc.) then I saw this one for almost half that...it's a no brainer. It's got everything you need in a drum throne without a ridiculous price tag. Threaded height adjustment, military grade legs and hardware (super thick and heavy), and it's really comfy, what more could you ask for. Bottomline is I wanted a rock solid throne that is comfy with threaded height adjustment and I got just that....for half the price of what I expected to pay. Sure it's not too fancy looking and doesn't have an super thick padded seat with sparkles and zebra print but it's strong and wont creep down when you play...that's all that matters. On top of that Amazon came through, as always, with LIGHTNING fast shipping, it was at my door the NEXT DAY!

Gibraltar SC-4245 High Torque Drum Key Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)I bought this key to go with my sons lot of goodies thinking it would be good for the marching snares (high torque is their middle name). This key is really well constructed and is alot longer than your average key. It gets to those hard to reach places with ease, the band guys love it! So far it seems to be really strong too and torques up those marching snares with no problems. I like the key so much I'm thinking about getting one for myself for my kit.

Gibraltar 9611DD-DB Direct Drive-Double Pedal Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)The Direct Drive is an excellent double base pedal for the price I paid. There is no hesitation and you can get up to really high speeds quickly. Other pedals, such as Pearl Demon Drive and Yamaha Twin Dragons, are twice to three times as much and they are the exact same pedal. Gibraltar it is a very sturdy and customizable pedal with a lot of features such as easy hoop mounting ( you can mount it while sitting on your throne). Also, it has rubber shoeing on the bottom so you can play it on a wooden floor. I thought about buying a cheaper brand, but then I figured I am going to want a higher quality double base pedal down the road, so why not spend the extra money now. It took me longer to save up for it, but it was well worth it.

DW Drum Workshop SM103 Medium Felt Bass Drum Beater Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)I love how this beater feels on my bass/kick drum. The rebound and soft touches I get are outstanding. Regardless of music style that I end up playing on a given day, I really enjoy the sound I'm getting out with this beater. It just feels good on my foot when I play.

DW Drum Workshop 6000 Series Trap Case Drum Throne Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)The ONLY thing I did was remove the handle & wheels. The 3" cheapies, were more trouble than they were worth. Bought a $30 folding dolly/cart from Lowes as an alternative to those useless wheels, and the too-short handle.

Pearl B100DB Duo-Beat Beater Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)This thing is great! I was still using my original, round felt head beater that got flattened out of shape. This thing works better and provides 2 impact options. The felt side sounds as good or better than traditional round felt beaters and the hard plastic side gives me a whole new sound and feel, a punchier, slightly louder tone. And it is more responsive when bouncing a couple of 16th notes off the bass drum, in my opinion. It also gives you the ability to quickly change your bass sound for the style of music you are playing at the time. For the price it is a no brainer upgrade. Just do it.

Gibraltar GPRSSS Super Spanner System Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)I have this unit connected to two Yamaha 9000 series boom stands. I find this solution much better than lugging around a heavy rack or many, many stands. Currently, I have three rack toms (8", 10", 12"), 2 short cymbal arms (splashes), 2 long cymbal arms (crashes) and a percussion mount attached to the unit. It is extremely sturdy and very versatile. I would recommend this unit to anyone wanting to lighten the load on your bass drum and have extremely flexible mounting options for your gear. I have it mounted a bit off to my right. However, you could have it mounted off to your left or a variety of other places. It is very nice to carry around boom arms versus heavy stands. The footprint of my entire kit is also reduced, which is great in small spaces and for a variety of other reasons.
Bottom line: if you would like more mounting versatility, less weight in your hardware bag, more resonance from your bass drum, a smaller footprint and are not in the market for a full rack system, then this is the unit for you. The clamps and the bar itself are very well built and sturdy. There is no reason, to pay more for a "brand name" rack. (Not that Gibraltar is not a brand name, you get my drift)
Also, check out their hybrid and stealth mounting systems. GIB HYBRID MOUNTING PODGibraltar GSVMS Stealth Vertical Mounting System PackageGibraltar GSSMS Stealth Side Mounting System They work quite nicely with this unit.
Thank You Gibraltar!

Gibraltar SC-GDCP Double Pedal Click Pad Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)This is a great bass pad! It's got a nice sound to it, typically when you use a plastic beater on your pedal(s). I haven't really found that much of a difference between the normal sound without the pad, as opposed to with the pad and a felt beater. My first impressions of this pad were that it really sounded like 'a knock on wood', or plastic for that matter, and that it wasn't exactly the desired sound I had been looking for. After about 2 to 3 minutes of use i was hooked! Right now, I'm under the impression right now that it needs to be "broken in" before the natural sounds start to come out. This seems to be the same with most drums and cymbals. Now, I've had it for less than a day, and I am already completely satisfied with what I had bought. This is the cheaper way to make your bass drums sound like they are triggered. This pad seems to completely mimic the effects of what a real trigger would do and sound like. It makes the drum itself seem louder, so you can stuff your bass drum and still be able to hear it well, and it gives it the notorious "clicking" sound which is great. I RECOMMEND THIS. This pad will also keep your drum head in tact, if you're like me and you like using the plastic side of your bass pedal beaters. This pad is great for all players, I myself am a progressive player, and I couldn't be more happy. Good luck, if anybody has any questions or if you want to see this pad in action on a great quality camera, search or go to "passion4drums" on youtube. Look out for my 12" Wuhan China Cymbal review coming soon!

239 CYMBAL ARM - Drum Rack Accessory Heavy Duty CHROME Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)I like this cymbal arm a lot particularly because of the way it is designed. You can use it like a boom or like a straight arm. The boom part of the arm can be slid into the main arm if you wish to use it like a straight arm. It is very useful when you decide to adjust a cymbal's position and do not need a boom-type mount. This allows you to prevent miscellaneous arms sticking out from your kit.
The arm is very sturdy and well made. The price is great as well. I would recommend this arm to anybody needing a versatile and flexible kit arrangement.

Gibraltar SC-GPR20 20 Inch Straight Rack Tube Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)This tubes are cheap to get and could help you grow your drum rack as long as you want. Are not too heavy, very transportable, but keep in mind that you should use a good bag with separators so each tube doesn't hit another making light scratches.
