Zildjian 18-Inch Oriental China Cymbal Trash Review

(More customer reviews)I've been playing Zildjian cymbals for over 20 years and I've never had a problem with them, nor have I ever had to replace them. I bought this cymbal to add some more color to my cymbal selection. I have a Platinum 20-inch China Low Boy which I use as a crash-ride and I wanted another another China that I could use for a crash.
Now you're probably saying, "Why buy a cymbal mail order? You haven't played it!" I had played this model of cymbal at a local music store and I have found that Zildjian produces a very consistent sounding product. The cymbal I purchased from Amazon sounds virtually the same as the one I tried in the local music store.
I'm very happy with the purchase and the 18-inch FX Oriental China Trash is a great addition to my drum kit.

Zildjian 21-Inch Sweet Ride Cymbal Brilliant Review

(More customer reviews)I originally only had ZBT cymbals, but the included crash/ride cymbal was just not cutting it, and when I got this cymbal, it cut through the mix unlike anything ive ever experienced. I love its shimmer, and it sustains forever. I'm not a very experienced drummer, and i dont know all the technical terms, but i do know that if you're looking for a ride that has a great sounds, this is a winner. Its super heavy, and when i put it on the stand it originally toppled over, so be careful in regards to that.

Zildjian A Custom Crash Cymbal - 17 Inch Review

(More customer reviews)I had to buy my cymbal upgrade (from Sabian AA to Zildjian) about 3 months ago online cz I was overseas and couldn't try cymbals out in person. So I was relying on the youtube videos for audio samples. Unfortunately, and based on what I heard and liked online, I purchased an 18" Zildjian K custom Dark Crash so I can have some sort of "variation" ,if you will, with my 15" A Custom Crash and K ride and Hi hat. But I was wrong (way too dark).
I sold it and got myself this baby right here.
As a drummer, I'd hate it if my cymbals were too loud (in the studio and on stage). And this was one major reason for switching to Zildjians.
Definitely way better than K custom and K Crashes if you're not a jazz drummer.
If you're looking for Crashes to buy with your Zildjian Set, A custom(s) is/are for you.
