(More customer reviews)This drum and bell kit was less expensive than renting a similar kit from the school. My daughter started 6th grade band this year and is basically trying percussion. For a "starter" instrument, I have been quite pleased with this kit. So far, it has been very durable, and works very well in band classes. The instructor was surprised that I found a kit of this quality for the price. It's certainly not a concert-quality instrument, but it is just the ticket for a first-timer. If my daughter stays with percussion and "upgrades" later, I am certain I can resell this kit locally and get almost every penny back. Both I and my daughter have been very happy with it.
