(More customer reviews)Pearl makes great hardware. I've had some of the same Pearl stands for almost 30 years. I've since outfitted my sets with yamaha hardware b/c of their light weight combined with durability. But I recently bought this snare stand because i needed the odd angles that a swivel would provide (as opposed to gears on the yamaha, which give limited positioning). Man, i am impressed! It's lightweight AND doesn't budge when slammed. I got a great price too. highly recommended.
