I used to play in a punk/metal band about 12 years ago and bought these by the box - though I ended up giving more away than actually breaking them. Unlike the nylon tips (which always seemed to snap off in less than a month) these wooden sticks would retain their shape and power to the bitter end - usually many months later. Now I've returned to drums and find these to be equally as comfortable and powerful as they've ever been. Look beyond whose name is attached to them. They are great sticks for drummers at any level.
