Bodhran Economy Case, 18" Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)Made of nylon, it is lightweight, strong, and collapsable. It has a large pocket on the side for the tipper and whatever else. A large looping handle - it is easy to carry and I hang the case from a nail when not in use. In a word - outstanding!

Meinl Frame Drum Tipper Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)I bought some of these tippers because they looked good and the price was right. But when I tried them out, I did not find them to be a comfortable fit or weight.
Instead, I ended up buying a Rikon wood lathe and learned to make my own. After experimenting with different designs and woods, I ended up a a few that I really like.

18" ROSEWOOD TUNABLE BODHRAN Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)This is a fine beginner's bodhran. I have gotten compliments on the appearance and several players more experienced than I have enjoyed playing it. It is not a Hedwitschak or an O'Kane or one of the other very fine, high-end drums that more accomplished players use. But it is not priced like those either. This is a servicable bodhran that is good enough to learn on and not so expensive that you would be discouraged from trying.

Trophy 14"" and 18"" Bodhran Set Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)I wanted the 18" Bodhran, simple not fancy. the set of two was only $15 more so I went with it. The drums have a good tone, they're pegged, not tunable, but that's exactly what I expected. And the 14" is available if I get an accidental duet.

Trophy Bodhran 14 in Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)This drum seems to have a nice tone to it, and it's obvious that the head is made from real animal skin... at some point I need to shave the hairs off it! (ick) Seems to be very sturdy, too.

Knob Tipper, Sloped Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)I like the feel of this one.. I am a newbie to the Bodhran.. I was given a great drum, hand made in Ireland.. but the tipper it came with is a bit too light to work with.. This one feels like an exstension of my hand.. Price was great.. Overall, a great find.
