(More customer reviews)I have been playing drums for over 20 years and have tried many different snare heads. This one has nice tonality and absolutely no overtones! It is focused and dry which allows you to enjoy the clean sound without all those pesky sustained tones that muddle the snap. If you like obnoxious overtones and sustained resonances, this is definitely not for you. If you want a tight dry and powerful sounding head, get this. No muffling, o-rings, or duct tape required.
