(More customer reviews)I love the sound of this drum. Tight and poppy, but a nice full tone. The sound has a lot more 'life' than most acrylic drums I've heard.
I got turned onto these when I saw that Dennis Chambers was playing one with Santana, and it's been my main snare ever since. And the price on these things is ridiculous. Where else can you get an American-made drum for $250?

Although I love the way my snare sounds, who couldn't appreciate some good ol fashioned deceitful marketing. Good thing there was a good sound or we would've had a problem.
