(More customer reviews)The Alesis SR-16 drum machine has to be one of the most prolific electronic devices on earth! The thing first came out in 1990, yet they're still selling. With so many in existence, it's inevitable that used ones are around to be had.
A friend gave his to me, and it's perfect for my home recording studio, as a midi pad (I'm surprised at how much NEW ones cost these days, with not that many additional features!)
No power supply, though, so I had to purchase this replacement. Great price, and it works perfectly. This is really a "step-down transformer," not an AC/DC converter, since the output is 9VAC, so it's hard to find a "generic" device.
Be sure to check to see what type of adapter your unit takes; there are different plugs available. This one is the "barrel type."

Boss DB90 Dr. Beat Metronome Review

(More customer reviews)When my decades old Seth Thomas metronome sprung its spring, it was time to move in to the new century. Based on multiple reviews of this instrument and others, I opted for this (and I got the power supply, too, to save batteries). Even though I have not yet used all of the powerful features of this metronome, I love everything about it thus far. It is easy to use. It adjusts in multiple ways, making it fully adaptable to the way and volume level that works best for me to hear and keep the beat. After only a couple of times, I found that I can easily make any adjustments with one hand - not needing to wrangle with the metronome in order to get the setting I need. And I love the "tap" feature that lets me choose the tempo without dialing to the exact beats per second setting. I would highly recommend this fine instrument to any one who is serious about practice.

Pearl M1440102 Snare Drum, 14-inchx4-inch, 6 ply Maple Review

(More customer reviews)I bought this snare elsewhere, and when I saw this price, I choked!!!!
It is a beautiful drum. The maple shell gives it warmth, but at the same time, if you hit it at the right spot (jus a little off center) you get an astonishing metallic "pop" very much like a Djembe drum.
I am a studio musician in Mexico City, and the sound in recordings is present and fulfilling! I would recomend this unique snare for anyone looking for a backup in those special situations, or for everyday use when you need your snare to say "I`m here!!!!!"
