(More customer reviews)First of all, I was a big fan of Celestions and didn't know much about Eminence. Someone had suggested to me that the Man O War coupled with The Governor was a winning combo and was even used by Slipknot for the recordings on Duality.
I don't know how true that was but I decided to give Eminence a try. I bought this speaker along with the Governor and installed it in my 4x12 cab with 2 Celestion GT75s. And I've never been happier. Of all the cabs I have owned and heard in my life, I like mine the best. I am a HUGE believer in mixing speakers however. To me its just impossible to have the perfect speaker. Some have more highs than others, some are for mids some are for lows. The Man O War seems to be the driving force behind my high freq. in my cab. As one reviewer said, it started off sounding harsh but has been broken in. Now coupled with the low punch of the Governor and the mid attack of the GT75s, it makes an excellent addition.
I'm pleased with this speaker for what its worth. I wouldn't make my amp push nothing but Man O Wars but for someone who is wanting nice, biting highs, I think this is a wonderful speaker!
