This far exceeded my expectations for quality of craftsmanship and build.
The seat is a tight compressed foam, - slightly contoured along the back to keep you in the proper position. You don't notice from the photos - but the logo is stitched/embroidered on the back - which helps to give it a high quality appearance.
The "worm drive" post is VERY heavy/solid - and the top is formed to interlock into the bottom plate. Easy to assemble, and once inserted and tightened, will NOT come out without releasing the locking bolts.
The bottom plate is over-sized, steel, and does have the mounting area to add a back support if you want.
The hardware is simple to adjust - very heavy gauge, and appears to be indestructible.
Price/performance considered- this throne should be at the top of your list.
