DW Drum Workshop CP5500TD 5000 Series Heavy Duty Delta 2-Leg Hi-Hat Stand Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)I own this stand, and I purchased it through Amazon.
I've been playing electronic drums for over a year, and just got an acoustic kit, so I needed several pieces of hardware. I tried several hi hat stands and liked the feel of the DW better than the others.
This one is called heavy duty for a reason...it feels as solid as rock, and I have no concerns about mounting my new Zildjian A Customs on it. The 2 leg base combined with a 'flip up' style pedal give it a firm foundation that locks into place, and can be further secured by two screws for more permanent installations.
The action of the pedal and rods is smooth as silk and gives me just the right amount of counterweight feel when playing. I love the feel of this hi hat! As a bonus, my DW 3000 hi hat double pedal (slave) nestles perfectly into the side of this pedal, saving a little space on the floor.
Highly recommended.

S900 Uni Lock Tilter Snare Drum Stand Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)Pearl makes great hardware. I've had some of the same Pearl stands for almost 30 years. I've since outfitted my sets with yamaha hardware b/c of their light weight combined with durability. But I recently bought this snare stand because i needed the odd angles that a swivel would provide (as opposed to gears on the yamaha, which give limited positioning). Man, i am impressed! It's lightweight AND doesn't budge when slammed. I got a great price too. highly recommended.

DW Drum Workshop SM505 Drop Loc Hi-Hat Clutch Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)I had no idea that this thing existed and would always have to setup my hi-hat before playing a song with double bass and was stuck with my decision until the end. Now I have the option to play my hi-hat and double bass without sacrifice.
I will admit that when I first got it the mechanisms were a little stiff and you really had to hit it to work but after playing with it a few times its fine.

Pearl SBA1/3 Snare Basket Adapter Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)I recently added a 10" Popcorn snare to my kit and needed a stand with a ten-inch snare basket. While searching for the best deal on that piece of hardware. I discovered these little adapter thinga-ma-jigs. They are very reasonably priced and only a fraction of the cost of a new stand; so I thought I'd give them a try. They work exactly as needed to hold the smaller drum and travel from gig to gig with no issues at all.

Dixon 606 Snare Drum Stand Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)If you are purchasing this for someone 10 or younger, than maybe. It is NOT very sturdy, and by no means for a serious, experienced drummer. For a child's first very light weight snare, o.k., but it will not grip the snare tightly, nor will it hold it upright if you hit the snare with any real force. It will keep slipping, and loosening, and drive you nuts. I'd pay another $10.00, and get a stand that your child can grow into, so you don't have to lay out more bucks for the inevitable upgrade.
