The REVERSE POWER dot is on the underside of the head allowing for intricate brush work. Don't be afraid to crank it down to get that "CRACK" sound! Very, very durable head. If you're looking for a more sensitive feel then look elsewhere. This head is very versatile (from gospel, jazz, country, rock etc...). I'm a heavy hitter. This head performs well under extreme tension. Pick up an Evans 300 Hazy and you're set!
