(More customer reviews)This drum has some serious depth and rich tones. The construction takes a beating and is not affected by temperature and humidity like a wooden one I just sold. Worth the cash to go with the 16" model. I also bought the Lightweight floor stand, which is the ONLY stand to get if you plan to use it outside where other stands sink into the ground.
