(More customer reviews)I was entirely skeptical about these when I bought them, but I'm occasionally a risk-taker, so I bought them. I half expected low-quality, poorly manufactured plastic sticks poorly held together, but as expensive as wood bundle sticks are, and as frustrating the speed at which they wear out is, I figured it would be worth a try. They're excellent; I've had them for months, and use them regularly, and everyone in my band agrees that they even sound better than wooden bundle sticks, especially on cymbals. They have a good grip, a kind of hard foam, that has great traction, and an adjustable ring around the middle that can slide up and down for different sound textures. The only wear that occurs is much more gradual than wooden bundle sticks, thin fibers begin to peel off of the sides, but they can be pulled off with no harm. I have been the guinea pig, and I would recommend these to any drummer or percussionist who is tired of buying dozens of expensive bundle sticks.
