(More customer reviews)I have not seen any reviews on the Epro so I will give it a go. For one, I love and prefer acoustic drums. Due to my, or should I say my band's issue with my volume, I was forced to go electronic and played a set of Rolands for 2 years. They were certainly okay with the limitations of mediocre sounds. I also hated the look (how egotistical) of playing on little pads. I was very excited to play with better sounds and the real look of drums...so now the review.
These Epro drums look really great and sound much improved over my Rolands (which I am now selling). Yes, out of the box the sounds were not perfect but spending time with the redbox allows for some real flexibility and I now have the sounds I have craved with the volume my bandmates so desire. The best compliment I can give is that the drums fooled a drummer in the audience who loved my sound and thought I was playing a real kit.
Will this replace real drums, no but is the ideal for a gigging drummer who needs to play in smaller places or just wants control. Flexibility, sounds and looks- who can ask for anything more. Go get em guys(and no, I do not work for Pearl but if they would like to send me a check-so be it).
