I am mostly using the various features as plug-ins with Ableton Live Intro, and I'm finding the combination of these two inexpensive packages to be awesome for someone on a budget. I can't believe the realistic guitar sounds I get using Guitar Rig as a plug-in to Ableton via my Yamaha keyboard (if you're not familiar with Native Instruments, Guitar Rig is one of the included programs). I've recorded several things and played back for other people and they were astonished that I was playing the parts with a keyboard. Highly recommend.
