(More customer reviews)I purchased this item to store and protect my tambourines and maracas. The zipper forms somewhat of a "V", most likely excellent for retrieving a drum, but perhaps not as practical for my purpose. However, the padding is thick, interior soft, and it has a sturdy strap and 3 handles. The top zippered compartment is handy for the extra drum (or tambourine) head. I am not sure how well it would work for a drummer, but it seems to be of very good construction for a soft case. I will update if I have any zipper issues.

(More customer reviews)We purchased this drum bag for our son. Shortly after using it the handle extender seemed to malfunction. After some adjusting, it worked again. It was used once/week for a few months and then packed away for the summer. In September it was brought out for the school year and now we have another disappointing lack of quality in that the plastic piece that connects the handle to the bag has broken.
very poorly made bag as it has not endured a once/week usage for a few months.
wish we could get our money back.
