The look of the baton is beautiful and it is perfectly weighted. However, for people with larger hands or longer fingers, I would recommend getting a baton with a larger handle.

I bought this baton as a gift for an aspiring music teacher and it's great! Sturdy and easy to hold. Plus shipping was extremely fast!

But not professional quality.
Buying a Mollard Baton would be best, but if you're just beginning and fear breaking your Mollard on the concertmaster's head, a wooden baton with a cork handle...wont hurt as much as a standard fiberglass one.
Not bad, but not great either.
