It holds cymbals and even giant rock toms right where you want them without them moving at all because of its square design. These clamps are used on this rack, and they hold everything solid. If your drums are not exactly where you want them and you're always settling for "ohh, I guess this is as close as I can get", buy the rack and these clamps. The only problem you will have is too much choice when you're first setting up. Trust me and get this, you will not regret it.
