(More customer reviews)I Learned to play drums using this book 13 years ago, And I can't believe that it's still being sold! That's just a testament to how helpful and effective this book really is. the songs on the audio CD are a lot of fun to play; Blues For Time was the first song I ever played on a drum set, and I still remember it like I was playing it yesterday (sad, I know).
The music is clear and easy to read, and the book moves very slowly, but you'll have a very large rep of beats, and an increased knowledge of basic drumming before you know it. This book was a necessary step in becoming a professional drummer, and If i can do it, anybody can, as long as they start with this book/CD. I highly recommend it!
