(More customer reviews)First off I would like to say that I play electronic drums. But the cymbals I use are metal electronic cymbals (like the Alesis Surge Cymbals). I like these cymbals because they look and feel just like real acoustic cymbals. The problem is when you hit them with a regular drumstick, you get a ping sound from the stick on metal. You can get strike pads and things to put on the cymbal to make it quiet but that ruins the look and feel of the metal cymbal. Anyway I have been looking for a stick that was not so loud. I tried rubber tips, and they were great on the cymbals but made the drums feel funny. I finally saw these felt tip sticks and decided to give them a try. WOW! They are perfect for my application. They cut that annoying ping sound but they feel like regular tip sticks. I am very happy now and can continue drumming in quiet again on my electronic set.
