(More customer reviews)When practicing on a drum pad, other drum sticks produce a discernible pitch when they strike the drum pad. The problem is that each stick has its own pitch. With each stick producing a different pitch, it is difficult to tell if you are using even strokes. It is also annoying to listen to. The anti vibration core in these sticks eliminates that problem. All you hears is the tip hitting the practice pad which makes it much easier to hear when your strokes are even.
