(More customer reviews)The Hi-Hat stand is built much better than I expected. The action is a bit stiff, but I suspect that it will loosen up after a little playing. I believe that it will last a long time. The top of the post where you attach the Hi-Hat clutch is knurled, which will probably make positioning more secure.
