(More customer reviews)This doumbek is small but handy, and can easily be carried around. It's an inexpensive way to get started playing, and see if you want to invest in a bigger, pricier model. Also nice for a child or young person to play. It gives a pretty good tone, both in the center and at the rim. This CD is great to learn with: Doumbek Instruction, Rhythm Rides CD
