(More customer reviews)When looking for a snare stand for my 6 rear-old, I wanted one that 1.) Would hold a little (12") snare drum as well as the bigger ones and 2.) Would adjust to low level so he could play it. The Yamaha 700 series stand fit the bill on both counts. Yes it's single-braced; but a lot more substantial than some double-braced stands out there. The kicker was, after ordering it from The Muzic Store (Upstate NY) through Amazon.com, it arrived THE NEXT DAY. This stand will take much bigger drums, and I like having to buy only one stand.
