(More customer reviews)First of all, this thing is much deeper than 16". It's a typical SKB case. By that I mean it's rugged, well built, smartly designed, and guaranteed for life. What more could you want. I do think they would sell more if they listed it as at least an 18" X 26". I had searched for an over-sized case for my custom 20 X 26 Kick, but nobody had one in stock. GC couldn't even order this one (??!) I was about to order an old-school paper fiber style, because it was available in the size I needed, but I decided to search one more place. I checked directly with SKB, who linked me to Amazon (??!) of all places. Lucky me. Amazon had one available, priced too low to list (only $60 bucks more than the flimsy fiber one) and I even qualified for free shipping. The kicker (bad pun) is, it got here in 4 days! Don't hesitate. Buy it. It will fit your drum unless it's deeper than 20".
