(More customer reviews)This ganza offers a soft unobtrusive yet ear-catching sound, and really shines in acoustic settings, but don't rule out ANY type of music. It's volume and sharpness are somewhat controllable by the way it's held and the force with which it's shaken. As a percussionist, I feel lost at any gig without one now, and in addition to my regular full rack/table, have added one to my small "jam bag".
