This one from Pearl is professional-quality equipment---it is stable, noiseless, and rugged. Also where many snare stands have plastic parts for the tilter and basket adjustment, this one is all metal (with rubber boots). And the adjustment action is smooth and solid. The double-layer tips on the arms really work, they allow you to tighten the basket arms down very securely, with zero rattle and zero scuffing of your drum's hoops. If the stand got knocked over, the drum will probably stay locked in the basket.
All in all, this was an excellent purchase, I'm very pleased with these stands.
