...this guy! great throne, butt is comfortable, back straight. my last stool (different brand) was stripped out and i'd be seated crooked within 5 minutes. this is built great, and the hydraulic lift has quite the range of height.

ROC-N-SOC Original Retrofit Throne Top Black Review

I have just recently started playing with a band and the guys have a "studio" drum set with this seat. After playing on it a while, I had to order one for myself. This seat is so much more comfortable for me than the "spongy" seat I previously had. The product was shipped quickly and was packaged very well. Just thrilled with this purchase...

ROC-N-SOC Nitro Throne Red Review

Well, key word is "swivel". (1) They don't tell you in the description that this throne spins left and right so freely, it's hard to keep still facing forward. It doesn't adjust either to lock it fixed or tighten the ease of spinning! It definitely needs this feature. (2) They don't tell you in the description that you can't get the cushion off easily once initially installed. You fix the seat portion on with two bolts that take a few minutes to tighten equally. So it's not like almost every other throne that you dismantle easily and throw in your stand/equipment bag. (3) No adjustment for seat tilt angle. I immediately felt a slightly downward angle and now have to put a small carpet patch under the front leg to offset. (4) You don't really need the quick up and down gas adjust, how often does a drummer really adjust their seat heighth? This can be done just as easily with the normal screw adjust.
The benefit: best feature is the comfortable plush seat. After an hour, you don't get so sweaty and uncomfortable underneath.......(you know what I mean). Although the seat is so big and wide, it is taking some getting used to as far as feeling complete leg freedom in working the pedals.

ROC-N-SOC Back Rest Red Review

My wife got me this through Amazon as a gift, it shipped fast and was packed securely. This is a great addition to the throne. Assembly was quick and easy. Sitting is more comfortable, the foam is firm and you can tell it is there. The back rest is also very adjustable, high, low, in or out and it also tilts. Made of the same fabric as the seat and matches perfectly. I gave it 4 Stars because Roc and Soc went a little cheap on this item. It is solid but the back is plastic, not that big of a deal. The big deal to me is they could have stitched there logo on the fabric and imprinted it on the back or something! There name is not on it anywhere! For $50 they could have put there logo onit in my opinion and stitched some fake leather over the back. It would have made this a little more classy for the best drum throne on the market!
