MiJam Drummer Review

At first glance, you think...'Dang, I'm going to be bustin' outs some awesome drum beats with these sticks.' Unfortunately that's not the case. Since each sound is produced with only 1 stick (either the left or the right) you can't get any rolling type sounds. You can actually bust out better beats tapping with your hands on a table or your lap. Also, the sound isn't produced by tapping the sticks on a surface. You have to actually air drum so your timing can be slightly off. It's like playing the drums on one of those a digital keyboards except you do a drumming motion instead of tapping a keyboard key.

The sticks are a little small for my 8 yr. old. The book is hard to understand without a basic background in music. Wish there was a c.d. or something with it. It arrived on time. Good price.

WASHBURN 4 PAD DIGITAL DRUM NIC Review

WASHBURN 4 PAD DIGITAL DRUM NIC

This product does not work. We returned it numerous times and every one had the same problem. We would plug it in and turn it on. After a short time (5 seconds to 1 minute), the display would blank out and not come back on. None of the buttons would respond either.
The problem would only happen with the plug. When I removed the plug and used batteries, it would work without problem. But, even if I left the batteries in, it would die shortly after plugging it in. This wasn't an acceptable solution because I wasn't going to run through batteries all the time.
We tried the DD50 and the LDD50 - both had the same problem.
