(More customer reviews)I was choosing between the SUPER 2's and the Evans G2's for my 10" floating tom.
I ended up getting the Super 2's because they were just a little thinner than the G2's.
It sounds nice, much better and controlled than the original DW single ply Ambassador type heads. I wanted something with a shorter sustain, and slightly dampened. These sound good. I got the G2's for the 12", 14", 16" toms, but not from AMAZ.
They charged me shipping, so save yourself the shipping and buy directly from Sam Ash or MF! That was my only complaint.
