(More customer reviews)good, thick mallet stick lets you give the drum a good thump. heads are well built and should last a long time. may want to consider putting some self-adhesive rough tape (like used on sprained ankles) on the handle to avoid slippage. other than that, nothing else needed. just whack away! typical vic firth quality.
