Before shipping off to Oregon as a Christmas gift, our "I'm too sexy for my shirt" teenage son enjoyed long hours of play-by-ear self-expression which sounded great and brought us smiles. The tone is clear and the musical scale produced is darn close-(will improve with proper mallet striking technique). Fun instrument. Excellent Seller!!
