(More customer reviews)I purchased a Gretsch Catalina Jazz kit (Rustic Pearl finish)in April 2010 and was instantly amazed. Having been a professional drummer for 31 years and having had numerous kits of several brands, this kit is my all time favorite. The tonal quality is bright and full and great for both studio and live gigs. The compact size is also great for transporting. Gretsch truly has the best sound for me.
