(More customer reviews)I like my snare drum to have a nice staccato "crack" to it with just a bit of ring/overtones. This head has been my go-to head for so many years and has not let me down. The texture is great for brushes, cross sticking sounds excellent and the head will withstand a generous high-strung tension. Combine this head with 1/2 of a "moongel" gummy for a more controlled (less ring) sound.
