(More customer reviews)I am not a drum buff. I bought this set for my 2 1/2 year old son so I figured that he would not know any difference between this set and a more expensive one either. I did spend a whole weekend looking at brand-name drum sets at various online stores. I decided on this set because its descriptions sound like a drum set at $500 range. I took a risk and ordered this set. I just finished assembling the drum set--what a pleasant surprise. I can tell you that this drum set is an excellent value. It comes with everything one needs to get started drumming. The quality and craftsmanship exceed all of my expectations--it is just a beautiful drum set; does not look "valued" at all. Although it did not come with detailed assemble instructions, everything is packaged in a good manner making the assembling process a breeze. If you are looking for a beginner drum set, it would be hard to find a set better than this one. I tried.
